Exciting plans have been revealed to transform the centre of Accrington – a new vision to reshape and refurbish the centre of this well loved Lancashire town – to make it ‘vibrant, bustling and proud’ and Inglenook Inns & Taverns want to be a vital part of this transformation.

If you want an example of pure transition from neglected to icon, zero to hero – then you have only to look at the former Railway at Accrington, which is now The Stanley (no prizes for guessing why!!)
Local girl Tina Bishop will be heading up the team – having successfully run the Grey Horse for us for a number of years.

Not only are we your very best premium Sports Bar in Accrington, but if its nightlife you are after, we tick that box in spades too. After an extensive £200,000 investment, both inside and out, if Live Sport is YOUR GAME, The Stanley is the perfect venue. If you can’t make it to the ground, this is the next best thing! Plus we have all your favourite beers and ‘food for sport’ is coming soon. Our impressive decked area to the rear (with its own bar!) provides a sun trap and a private beer terrace.

We can pour you a cold draught pint, whilst you enjoy all the sporting action LIVE on our GIANT screens in the Stanley. And if you are here for THE match, we can offer you a pre or post drink in stylish surrounding. We have an extensive range of world beers, carefully kept cask, value for money wines. But Girls if you are wanting a night out and some live entertainment – with our Legendary DJ Wayne we have an interesting selection of premium spirits – with fever tree tonics of course and cocktails to make the night special. Check out ‘What’s On’ during the week – there is something for everyone! Opening on Friday 20th May – come and check us out

And that’s not the whole story – we are also currently investing in the Queens Hotel, Eastgate – a facelift both inside and out. The Thorn Inn at Church and the Royal Oak at Clayton Le Moors have been rebranded and previous operators have been given the chance to run their own businesses. James Waddington, CEO says ‘ we believe in investment not only in buildings and  business but people too. We are proud and excited to be part of the bigger picture and want to contribute to the refurbishment of this iconic Lancashire town. Hard working people deserve well purposed buildings to enjoy their leisure time’
